Service Description
End Product + Design Documents + Production Documents
This low noise RF coaxial amplifier operates across the 1.215 GHz to 1.4 GHz frequency range and is designed with an integrated band-pass filter that effectively suppresses out-of-band signals. Its performance makes it particularly well-suited for applications in the 1.4 GHz Wireless Medical Telemetry Service (WMTS) band, such as hospital patient monitoring systems.
Offering a typical noise figure as low as 0.5 dB and a typical output power of 16 dBm at the 1 dB compression point (P1dB), the amplifier ensures strong signal integrity. It delivers a high gain of at least 35 dB with excellent gain flatness, typically within ±0.75 dB, across the operating band.
This performance is made possible through a hybrid microwave integrated circuit (MIC) design using advanced silicon-germanium (SiGe) bipolar transistor technology. The amplifier is housed in a connectorized SMA module and is matched for 50 Ohm systems.
Powered by a single +12V DC supply and drawing a maximum current of approximately 160 mA, the module includes built-in voltage regulation and is unconditionally stable. It is engineered to operate reliably over a wide temperature range from -40°C to +75°C, making it robust for demanding environments.
