This direction-finding antenna operates across a frequency range of 20 MHz to 6 GHz. It features a fully integrated active monitoring antenna that provides high-sensitivity omnidirectional coverage along the same axis as the direction-finding array, without interference.
Full-size elements across all bands ensure excellent sensitivity, with ultimate angular resolution reaching well under 1° for strong signals across most of the frequency range. Dipole elements enhance cross-polarization rejection and maintain reliable performance for signals arriving at angles up to 15° above or below the horizon.
The integrated monitoring antenna consists of two bands, positioned above the high-frequency antenna module housed in the radome. Each band is amplified at the top of the cable and passively combined to provide continuous coverage from 20 MHz to 6 GHz with a single output connector.
This antenna is compatible with both 5- and 2-channel phase-sensitive receivers and correlative algorithms. Characterization can be performed upon request.
