This WR-42 straight waveguide section is designed for instrumentation-grade performance across the 18 GHz to 26.5 GHz frequency band. Constructed from high-quality oxygen-free hard copper, the section features tight mechanical tolerances (as precise as ±0.001”) to ensure consistent and repeatable RF characteristics.

The waveguide is equipped with UG-595/U square cover flanges and has a standard length of 6 inches. Instrumentation-grade models are typically hard gold plated over a copper flash to ensure durability and excellent electrical performance. These sections are ideal for high-precision laboratory and testing environments.

Various sizes ranging from WR-12 to WR-137 are available, with lengths offered in 3-inch increments (3″, 6″, 9″, 12″). Custom lengths and flange configurations can be provided upon request.
