This compact millimeter wave transmitter is designed for operation within the global unlicensed 60 GHz frequency band and comes housed in a standard waveguide module. Utilizing a double-conversion, sliding-IF architecture, it supports wide bandwidth transmission from baseband to carrier frequency.

The unit features an analog I/Q interface for baseband input, offering flexible integration for a variety of systems and applications. It also supports FSK and MSK modulation schemes for non-coherent transmission when required. A complete waveguide interface is included, featuring a low-loss transition to a WR15 waveguide port for efficient RF signal output.

Lightweight and compact, the transmitter is equipped with a multi-pin ST4 connector that simplifies connectivity for power, baseband signals, reference clock input, and digital control. It accommodates two selectable reference clock frequencies, enabling channel spacing of either 540 MHz or 500 MHz depending on system requirements.
