Project Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced RF Engineer with expertise in radar systems. As an RF Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing radar systems, including software components, from initial concept through to production.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop RF components and subsystems for radar systems.
- Conduct system-level analysis and simulations to optimize radar performance.
- Perform RF testing and validation to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and systems engineers.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in radar systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in designing and developing radar systems, preferably in automotive or industrial sectors.
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools such as ADS, CST, HFSS, or similar.
- Strong understanding of radar principles, including waveform design, signal processing, and antenna theory.
- Experience with radar hardware design, including transmitters, receivers, and antennas.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with software-defined radar systems.
- Familiarity with radar signal processing algorithms.
- Knowledge of radar signal processing techniques such as pulse compression, Doppler processing, and target tracking.
- Experience with radar testing and validation, including range testing and field trials.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards for radar systems, such as FCC, ETSI, or MIL-STD.
