Project Description
We need an experienced antenna engineer to review, optimize, and simulate custom antenna designs for IoT and aerospace applications. The work is 100% remote—you’ll use HFSS/CST to validate performance and provide tuning recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Review existing antenna designs (HFSS/CST files) and identify S11/radiation pattern issues.
✔ Design new antennas from specs (patch, PIFA, helical, etc.) with fabrication-ready outputs.
✔ Simulate enclosure integration effects (plastic/metal housings) and suggest mitigations.
✔ Deliver clear reports with before/after simulation data.
Must Have:
- 5+ years of hands-on antenna design experience.
- Expertise in HFSS, CST, or FEKO (submit past simulation examples).
- Strong knowledge of impedance matching, bandwidth optimization, and near-field/far-field analysis.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with 5G/mmWave, wearable antennas, or aerospace applications.
- Background in VNA measurements or prototyping (not required for this role).
Project Scope:
- Type: One-time design review + optimization (potential for ongoing work).
- Input: Client provides frequency, size constraints, and material specs.
- Output: Simulation files + PDF report with actionable recommendations.
